About me
Hi, I’m Candice Hucik — I’m a mom of two, a wife, and just recently, I left the corporate world to follow a lifelong dream:
becoming a children’s book author.
My first faith-based children’s book is coming just in time for the Christmas season!
This book was inspired by some of the big, thoughtful questions my daughter asked when we started reading the Bible together.
I realized I wanted a way to explain biblical values in a way young kids could connect with — through characters and moments that felt familiar and fun.

ABOUT THE TALE
In my story, Charlie is a tiny dog with silky fur and sparkling brown eyes who lives in a cozy apartment with his favorite human, a young lady named Ellie. Charlie is a sweet pup who gets into a lot of mischief.
But no matter what, Ellie reminds Charlie that she loves him — not just when he’s good, but always.
